Attorney Jamie Barrington doesn’t just quit his job, he quits his life.

While prosecuting a ruthless drug lord, Jamie’s wife is killed, causing his life to go on a downward spiral. Devastated and desperate to escape his pain, he agrees to undergo an experimental medical procedure, which pays $1,000,000 to swap bodies with another man, lose his memories and start a new life.

He wakes up as Alex, with a younger, fitter body, on an island only dreams are made of, with sun, sex and sangria on tap.

But when his past memories begin to resurface, he uncovers the conspiracy behind the swap and why he was chosen. Alex is a wanted criminal, and he murdered his wife. He is an associate of the man he was prosecuting and now, in Jamie’s body, he is intentionally throwing the trial.

Luckily there is a fine line between lawyer and liar, as in his criminal body, Jamie has both police and felons in pursuit. He has to now operate on the other side of the law that he once upheld, in order to avenge his wife’s death and get justice. He enlists the aid of the criminal underworld, including those he previously prosecuted, to help him reclaim his body and life, before the trial is over and the verdict is in.
